Split System Installation — common questions
How do I know what size system I need?+
Room size, ceiling height, window orientation, insulation and climate zone all factor in. We size based on AS/NZS 3823 — usually 100W per square metre for living areas, slightly less for bedrooms. We always include the calculation in the quote.
Can you install on a brick wall?+
Yes. Standard core-drilling and bracket fixing. We use vibration-dampened mounts and silicone-seal every penetration so there are no leaks or rattles.
What's included in the price?+
Indoor head, outdoor unit, up to 5m of pre-charged copper line set, drain, electrical connection from an existing dedicated circuit, full commissioning, and registration of warranty. Anything additional (extra line set, switchboard work, scaffolding) is itemised before we book.
